Sheikh Omar Malahifji

His lineage is related to the family of the House, may God be pleased with them. He was born in Aleppo in 1931 AD, corresponding to the year 1350 AH, approximately, and he had a spiritual and scientific upbringing, as his father, Sheikh Muhammad, was a teacher of Sharia sciences, so he paved the way for him to follow in his footsteps in seeking knowledge. Early signs of piety and love for the righteous appeared on Sheikh Omar, so he received knowledge at the Khosrawi school, then continued his studies at the hands of the great sheikhs of the city of Aleppo . Muhammad al-Arabi al-Tabbani , Sheikh Amin al-Kutbi , Sheikh Hassan al-Mashat , Sheikh Muhammad Nur Saif, and Sheikh Alawi bin Abbas al-Maliki. At the end of his life, he immigrated to Medina to be close to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and continued to spread knowledge until he died on Friday 12 Dhul Qi’dah 1433 AH corresponding to September 28, 2012 CE.
