Sayyid Hamza bin Abbas Al-Budshishi

Sayyid Abu Jamal Hamza bin Abbas Al-Qadiri Al-Budshishi is the valiant Imam, the virtuous, the scholar who practiced what he knew, the noble Qadiri Hasani, a descendant of righteous and saintly people, and a grandson of leaders of jihad and guidance. He is the son of Hajj Abbas bin Al-Mukhtar the Mujahid bin Muhyiddin bin Mukhtar bin Shaykh Al-Mukhtar the first bin Muhammad bin Ali Abi Dashish bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Abi Dakhil bin Al-Hasan bin Shuayb bin Ali bin Abdul Qadir bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Abdul Razzaq the second bin Ismail bin Abdul Razzaq bin Muhyiddin Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani - may Allah sanctify his secret - and then back to our master, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. May Allah be pleased with him. He was born in 1341 AH / 1922 in the village of Madagh in the region of Berkane, easternmost Morocco, where the Zawiya of his honorable Qadiri Budshishi ancestors is located. Sayyid Hamza mastered memorization of the Quran and completed his studies in the first track of scientific education before he reached the age of 14. Then he began receiving Islamic sciences at his ancestors' Zawiya, before travelling to the city of Oujda to complete his education. He joined the Islamic Institute, which was affiliated with the University of Al Quaraouiyine at that time, until he returned to his home country. He received from many shaykhs and had many disciples associated with him. He passed away at Fajr of the 20th of Rabi al-Thani, 1438 AH, and was succeeded in his father's position by his son, Sayyid Jamaluddin Al-Budshishi.
