Sheikh Abdul Qadir Issa

Abd al-Qadir bin Abdullah bin Qasim bin Muhammad bin Isa, Azizi al-Halabi al-Shazli - may God have mercy on him - was born in Aleppo in 1338 AH corresponding to 1920 AD. He lived a comfortable life dominated by the adornments of the world until God endeared him to knowledge. Hasan Hassani, then he studied at the Shaabani School for six years, after which he traveled to Damascus in search of a sheikh who would accompany him until he was guided by Sheikh Muhammad al-Hashimi al-Talmisani , the sheikh of the Shadhili method, and he accompanied him until al-Hashemi died after he was authorized to teach and guide on the Shadhili method. Sheikh Abd al-Qadir continued to lead the Muslims in prayer and teach them until he passed away in Istanbul in 1412 AH corresponding to 1991 CE.
