Sheikh Abd al-Rahim bin al-Sheikh Muhammad Waqi Allah “Al-Bura’i” is one of the most prominent Sufi sheikhs working in Sudan and the Islamic world. His father established the corral in the year 1900 AD. He married more than 5,000 young men and women. Omdurman Islamic University and the University of Gezira awarded him an honorary doctorate, and his poems became praises to the Prophet, including his famous poem "Borik Tabak", which Sheikh Al-Burai stated is his best poem in a famous television interview, and one of his famous poems is the poem of the faithful country. His lineage goes back to the great companion Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awam, and his grandmother traces her lineage back to Sheikh Abboud Al-Nasih. His mother is Al-Risala bint Abd Al-Rahman.
