Beloved Muhammad Saeed Al-Beidh

Muhammad bin Sa’id Al-Bidh - may Allah have mercy on him - was a scholar and inviter to Islam. His lineage traces back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He was born in Kenya on Thursday night, the 19th of Safar, in 1361 AH, and he grew up there. He gained knowledge from its scholars, then worked in teaching, and traveled to several countries to call to Allah and to acquire and spread knowledge. Many callers and scholars graduated under him, and many people embraced Islam at his hands.

Among his teachers were Shaykh Ahmad Mashhur bin Taha Al-Haddad, and Shaykh Umar bin Ahmad Sumayt, among others. During his journeys, he met many scholars and was granted their permission. One of the most prominent of them was Habib Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad As-Saqqaf. He passed away in Safar 1434 AH / January 2013.
